Terms of use

1. The service

OccMed.Space provides focused educational applications for UK occupational medicine qualifications. Live products may include question bank practice, structured portfolio feedback and related learning tools. Draft products shown in administration records are not available unless they are deliberately released.

Features may be improved, replaced or withdrawn where necessary for safety, accuracy, supplier availability or product development. A material change that affects paid access will be handled reasonably and communicated where practical.

2. Your account

You must provide an email address you control and keep your sign in details secure. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or used to provide access to other people. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Your material

You retain ownership of the material you upload or enter. You give OccMed.Space a limited permission to process, store and transmit that material only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service in line with the privacy notice.

You must remove information that identifies patients, workers, employers or other organisations before uploading a portfolio. Do not upload material you do not have the right to use, confidential third party records, live examination questions or content that infringes another person’s rights.

4. Educational integrity

You may use the platform to:

• identify omissions, ambiguity and weak reasoning;
• understand why an MCQ answer is right or wrong;
• practise explaining your own decisions; and
• revise your own work in your own words.

You must not use the platform to:

• generate an entire portfolio for submission;
• misrepresent AI generated work as your own experience;
• reconstruct, distribute or claim access to live examination content;
• attempt to reveal hidden prompts, credentials or security controls; or
• interfere with the service, automate abusive requests or evade credit controls.

5. Credits, prices and payment

Where a feature uses credits, the credit cost is shown before the relevant action. Opening saved feedback must not consume another credit. A new AI review or follow up response may consume a credit as stated in the interface.

Credits are an account entitlement to use specified platform features. They are not money, are not transferable and have no cash value. The package description, price, expiry and refund information shown at purchase form part of these terms.

Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights. Where a service is faulty or materially different from its description, contact support@occmed.space so it can be corrected or an appropriate remedy considered.

6. AI limitations

AI systems can make mistakes. OccMed.Space uses structured prompts, document grounding, saved outputs and safety controls to reduce that risk, but no output is guaranteed to be complete or correct. Check factual, legal, clinical and examination related statements against authoritative current sources.

The service does not provide medical care, legal advice, employment advice or a clinical decision about an identifiable person.

7. Availability and fair use

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the service available, but access may be interrupted by maintenance, supplier outages, security work or events outside reasonable control. Requests may be rate limited or suspended where needed to protect users, credits, data or provider costs.

8. Suspension and closure

Access may be suspended or closed for serious or repeated misuse, attempted unauthorised access, account sharing, unlawful material or conduct that threatens the service or other users. Where practical, the reason and any available next step will be explained.

You can delete saved material and request account deletion using the platform controls or by contacting support. Data handling after closure follows the privacy notice and any records that must be kept for security, accounting or legal reasons.

9. Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use the feedback, your final submission and your examination decisions. OccMed.Space does not promise a pass, a particular score, career progression or acceptance of a portfolio.

OccMed.Space does not exclude responsibility where the law does not allow it to be excluded. Otherwise, responsibility is limited to losses that were reasonably foreseeable and directly caused by a failure to provide the service with reasonable care and skill.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If a concern arises, contact support first so there is an opportunity to resolve it promptly. Your statutory right to use an applicable court or dispute process is not affected.
